Musical Theatre Dance Workshops
Barbara conducts Broadway jazz dance workshops and master classes throughout the San Francisco Bay Area most recently at Alonso King LINES Ballet Dance Center in San Francisco.
The workshops are for adults and teens both new to Broadway jazz as well as experienced dancers. The goal is to brush up on musical theater dance skills for auditions or just have fun in a positive and supportive environment!
The workshops consist of a 30-40 minute warm-up with exercises from ballet, jazz and yoga. The remainder of the time is dedicated to learning exciting combinations from Broadway shows in the style of Fosse, Robbins, and Bennett, to name a few.
